Miscommunication

I think in most of the instances that I saw a miscommunication between people it was because the person who was being told something did not take the time to listen to everything the other person was saying. The person heard the first thing the person asked and immediately thought they knew what the person wanted. This led to the task that was being told to be done being done incorrectly. The miscommunication could have easily been avoided if the person listening had listened to all the instructions. Instead, they thought they knew what the person wanted and were wrong. If they would not have thought that they knew exactly what the person wanted the miscommunication would have been avoided.
